The local transport (dolmus) from the nearby village of Bogaziçi passes Turquoise on its way to Bodrum town. It goes through the small town of Güvercinlik which has also has a choice of restaurants and small local shops.  From Bodrum Otogar (bus station) you can take another dolmus to explore the area further, visit the bustling local market next door, or just stock up in the more familiar surroundings of a supermarket.  A short walk towards the sea will take you to the castle, harbour, shops and other attractions.  Car hire can be arranged.
